Day thirty-nine

hm. woke up late. plans to finish most of IS essays and assignments. so didnt go out. except for lunch where we went to eat at kfc. actually the meal was for breakfast lunch and dinner. haha. so im finishing off my photo essay and then shall finish up my last assignment. good luck to me

Day thirty-eight

woke up early to go to hankou. been planning to go there for quite some time. finally we found the time to go there and then went to eat our brunch at Dico's. ate chicken rice. nice! then walked around and all we saw was expensive branded goods. so we walked through alleys and found some shops which sell very nice shirts like emporio armani, calvin klien at a very good bargain. so kangliang bought quite afew. then we went into a shop selling Vans shoes. and turns out the salesman there know english and he was rather cute. haha. but they were selling original Vans at rmb400. not worth it at all. so went out of the shop and shopped at this mall where nicholas bought his shoes and kangliang bought more shirts and i bought a shirt as well.

i dont understand people buying Vans shoes suddenly. last time it was cool owning one, now its just a common sight.

reached back dorm at 8.30pm. rushed to gym because kangliang got so addicted to keeping his fit body. went back to dorm and kangliag realised he lost his cap in the cab we took back home. he kept quiet or more appropriate emo for the night. ate dinner instant noodles and then sleep

Day thirty-seven

did finishing touches to my miniproject. went for my interview and then went back. decided to go itmall that day. the others bought alot of things like mp3s, earpieces and razor mouse. seriously, i dont know why everyone start to have a craze for the razor mouse. i admit it does have extra features. but other than that, hm, its as good as haivng a normal mouse.

then walked to factory sport stores where marc finally bought his shoe for dragon boat. then we rushed back. went to gym. the guys are crazy over working out their body. well, for me, i just sat there and listened to music. then went to ea dinner at a roadside stall and back to dorm.

Day thirty-six

woke up late as usual. finally finished my miniproject with some help from friend. went to eat dinner. then watch movies again and sleep. sorry but thats what we really did. very short.

countdown to home has started by my friends. hm excited or sad to leave this place? not really sure

Day thirty-five

today was 'OB China'. well, to me its nothing just a few obstacle course. woke up, then went to see if the guys had woke up yet. and no, they just woke up, realised they were late and they rushed for the toilet. hilarious. haha. then reached the place. reached 15minutes late yet others too have yet reached. then turns out we were also waiting for the lsct students. shocked that they came to our school for the first time.

finally the event started with us standing in line and divided into groups. i was in a group called spongebobes. ice breaking games started. my group was rather laid back or in a prefered term by me, very boring. we had to think of cheer and when its time for our turn, only 2 people were shouting and the rest were mumbling. then we played more games and all.and finally break into lunch. had lunch at kfc. slacked there all the way till the obchina starts again at around 1plus pm.

started off with climbing this ladder and then crossing over to a plank and jump down. everyone started to wear this belt thingy around your waist and i find like very little amount of people have the basic knowledge of even putting it on. there was like sebastian and some other people helping others putting it on. i had went to such events like this including obsabah so i knew the basics. helped people like nicki and wenhao putting on their safety belts. i was the last few to go on. it was alright. not much of adrenaline rush except for the jumping down part as the guy will only stop me falling when i nearly reached the ground. i was nearly cursing the guy. then i started to wonder those idiots who commit suicides falling off from buildings and all. i bet they never think it through at all.

then went to have trust fall. the guys would be the one to catch you from your fall. and you must have the trust to drop down with having your hands and legs tied together. for me, having people like marc, sebastian and wenhao to break my fall gives me confidence boost and i just dropped down. and according to marc i was light and he felt nothing. haha. actually the trick was to fall off properly by falling vertically and by doing that, you are actually spreading your weight evenly throughout so that the people catching you dont feel the weight. but some people due to lack of confidence, fall off and landed on their buttocks which makes the person catching your buttocks carry all the weight. marc once told me, he caught this girl but she fall on her buttock first and his hand nearly got a fracture. wow

then had rock climbing. didnt attempt to climb as i had tried it so many times and decided to let other people who never tried it before. after a while, my group went off as we thought can go off as we heard someone say mr chua or mr ma can go after we are done. turns out, we supposed to stay till the end for the closing ceremony.

Day thirty-four

the lessons today were optional. didnt go as i knew i wouldnt understand even if i did. so i decided to ask kangliang to teach me appg as he seems confident in getting A. went out to eat dinner at a fake kfc nearby the school. the wait for our food was torturous as the wait was very long, we were hungry and we can hear people singing, actually more like shouting and screaming as the place was beside a KTV. horrible the environment. then went to eat sundaes and back to dorm. as usual sleep late.

Day thirty-three

free and easy again. as usual woke up late. slept rather late watching movies and all. goodness me. after bathing and all, decided to have dinner and went to the restaurant to have our meal. then later on, played games and continued watching movies. and did abit of miniproject. then was given cake by earnest as they said it was his mom's birthday. the cake was rather nice and we had a small cake fight. haha. right arvind. sorry about the bed. LOL
